Security is not a feature we added at the end: it shaped every part of Extracta, from the upload to the database.
Never used to train AI
Extracta never trains AI models with your documents or your data.
Encrypted in transit
Every connection uses HTTPS (TLS 1.2+) with HSTS. Nothing travels in plain text.
PDFs deleted at once
Your file is erased from our server as soon as it is read. Process-only results expire in 1 hour.
Your data stays yours
Row Level Security in the database: each account only ever reaches its own documents.
Payments by PayPal
We never see or store card numbers. PayPal handles the whole payment.
Minimal by default
Bank account numbers keep only their last 4 digits. We ask for what we need, nothing more.

Questions, answered
Which PDFs work?
Digital PDFs with a text layer: those created by accounting systems, banks, e-invoicing or exported from Word. Scanned images are not supported yet.
How are pages counted?
Every page of every PDF counts once. A 1-page receipt uses 1 page and a 12-page contract uses 12. If a document cannot be processed, its pages are given back.
What does the free plan include?
10 pages every 24 hours with all features except saving to your history. No credit card needed.
Do you keep my documents?
The PDF file is deleted right after processing. In process-only mode the extracted data lives for 1 hour and is never written to a database. You can choose to save results to your history.
How do payments work?
Through PayPal, your choice: page packs that never expire, or a monthly subscription you can cancel anytime from your account (you keep the plan until the period ends).
How accurate is it?
Very accurate on well-structured documents, but it is AI: always review important figures before using them.
