Terms and Conditions

Extracta is a service operated by AESMatias, an independent developer based in Chile ("we", "us"). Contact: plutarco1677@gmail.com.

Extracta reads the digital PDFs you upload, classifies them and extracts their data with an AI model, and lets you view it, chart it and export it to Excel, CSV or JSON.

Results are produced automatically and may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing them before relying on them, especially amounts, dates and tax identifiers. Extracta is not an accounting, tax or legal service, and its results are not advice.

You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity in your account. One account per person; accounts may not be shared or resold.

Some features require confirming your email address. We may approve, suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

When you use Extracta you must not:

• upload documents you have no right to process, unlawful content or malware;
• upload personal data of other people without a legal basis to process it;
• try to bypass usage limits, disrupt or overload the service, or access data that is not yours;
• copy or resell the service by automated means.

We may limit or block access in those cases.

You keep every right over your documents and the data extracted from them. You give us only the permission needed to process them and show you the results. The Extracta software, brand and site remain ours; third-party tools and services keep their own licences.

The PDF file is deleted from our servers right after processing. Extracted data is stored only if you choose to save it to your history, until you delete it or close your account. We do not use your documents to train AI models. Make sure you have the rights to every document you upload.

• Usage is measured in PDF pages: every page of every processed document counts once. If a document cannot be processed, its pages are given back.
• The Free plan includes a limited number of pages every 24 hours.
• Subscriptions give a number of pages every 30 days and renew automatically every month until you cancel them.
• Page packs are prepaid pages that do not expire while the service operates. They are used after your plan's pages.
• Prices are shown in the currency displayed next to them (US dollars) and may include taxes depending on your country. Price changes never affect a period or a pack you already paid for.
• Payments are processed by PayPal. Your card details are entered in PayPal's own window and never reach our servers.

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account. There will be no further charges and you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. Cancelling does not by itself give a refund; see section 13.

We work with professional care to keep Extracta available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, improve or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service, prepaid pages that have not been used will be refunded.

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost data, or for decisions made on the basis of extracted data without reviewing it. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection law gives you and that cannot be waived.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time: from your account page, with the form at /delete-account (we email your account a confirmation link), or by writing to plutarco1677@gmail.com from the email of your account, in which case we delete it within 48 hours and confirm by email.

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version and important changes will be announced on the site or by email. The version published when you make a payment is the one that applies to that payment.

These terms are governed by the laws of Chile. Before any formal claim, please write to plutarco1677@gmail.com so we can try to solve the issue together. This does not affect your right to go to the consumer protection authority (SERNAC) or the competent courts.

A payment for a plan or a page pack is refunded only when both conditions are met:

• none of the pages of the paid plan or page pack have been used; and
• less than 72 hours have passed since the payment was made and the plan or pack was activated.

Regardless of those conditions, a payment is refunded in full when you were charged twice or by mistake, or when we cannot provide the service you paid for. Each monthly subscription charge is evaluated on its own.

To ask for a refund, write to plutarco1677@gmail.com from the email of your account, including the PayPal transaction ID. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through PayPal; your bank or card issuer may take 5 to 10 business days to show them. Once refunded, the plan or the pages of the pack are removed from your account.

Because the pages are delivered and can be used as soon as the payment is completed, and to the extent the law allows, the right of withdrawal (derecho de retracto) under article 3 bis of Chilean Law 19.496 does not apply once any of the conditions above is no longer met. This does not limit any legal guarantee you are entitled to if we fail to provide the service.
